Lucette Gourdon Rogers, 83, a native of Porte Les Valence, France, and a resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, March 2, at 9:30 a.m.
She is survived by her brothers-in-law, Elgin and Edgar Rogers, Chester Kraemer and Henry Songe; sisters-in-law, Shirley Arceneaux, Rita Landry, Deloris Kraemer, Doris Songe, and Velma and Barbara Rogers; god children, Erich Duplantis, Brenda Rogers Huffman and Janice Rogers Yantis; sister, Aimee Gourdon Roure; and numerous nieces and nephews including two in France.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Rogers; parents, Ulyssee and Albertine Tracol Gourdon; sister-in-law, Ruby Rogers; and brother-in-law, Junius Rogers.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 5 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma with the funeral to follow. She will be buried at Rogers Cemetery in Houma.
Samart Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
