Lucille Gueho Britton, 88, a native of Gross Tete, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, September 10.

She is survived by five daughters, Lea McElroy and husband David, Joanna Bozarth, Luci LeBoeuf, Joan Hutchinson and husband Bill, and Debbie Lynn and husband Gary; one son, John Britton and wife Nancy; daughter-in-law, Jackie Britton; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and nine step-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband, John Frank Britton; one son, Frank Judson Britton; her parents, Joseph and Evelina Gueho; and five siblings, Effie, Harry, Herman, Travis and Russell.

She was buried at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
