Lucy Landry Dias, 89, a native of Labadieville, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, April 5, 2011.


Mrs. Dias was a sales clerk at Shainberg’s Department store for a number of years. She was a parishioner and Eucharistic minister at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church.


She is survived by her daughters, Joann (Ronnie) LeBlanc and Paula (George) Swindel; four grandchildren, Adam and Erik LeBlanc, Emily Bowie and Catherine Swindel; brother-in-law, Roland Dias; and sister-in-law, Louisanne Landry.

She was preceded in death by husband, Eston Dias; parents, Ernest and Onelia Bollotte Landry; brothers, Everette and Jessie Landry.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or Veterans of Foreign Wars.

She is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Chauvin)
