December 31, 2009Lucy Pertuit Foret, 81, a native and resident of Lockport, La., died at 7:22 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009.
Mrs. Foret was a parishioner of St. Hilary Catholic Church in Raceland, La.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy (David) Theriot and Tammy (Dwayne) Chassion; brother, Dudley Pertuit; sisters, Janet Robicheaux and Helen Martin; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Buddy and Cecile Danos Pertuit; brother, Norris Pertuit Sr.; and sister, Mabel Matherne.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, at St. Hilary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10 a.m. at the church.
She will be buried at St. Mary Cemetery in Raceland.
