Luke L. Boyer, 87, a native and resident of Paradis, La., died at 2 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2012.
Mr. Boyer was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a chief criminal deputy with the St. Charles Parish Police Department.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie Boyer; daughter, Lynell (Joe) Sherrill; sons, Lowell (Karen) Boyer and Lyle Boyer; brother, Joseph Boyer; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jean and Lillian Boyer; and sister, Beatrice LeGrande.
Burial was at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Des Allemands, La. (Falgout)
