Lynn Brashear, 54, a native of Freising Bavaria, Germany, and resident of Morgan City, La., died at 2:41 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011.

She is survived by her parents, Bob and Cheer Owens; husband, Alton Brashear; daughter, Leah Mae Owens; son, Alton Castille; sister, Mrs. Liesi (Duane) Roberson; brothers, Guy, Kurt and Jared Owens; 14 grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Raymond (Marie) Ruffin and Ronald Brashear; sisters-in-law, Barbara Hall, Ora Garner, Gwendolyn (Thomas) Anderson, and Suzette and Mary Brashear; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.


She was preceded in death by her son, Fred Owens; mother-in-law, Cassie Ruffin Cooper; and father-in-law, Edward Cooper.

She is buried at Morgan City Cemetery. (Jones)
