Lynnell M. Smith, 33, a native of Napoleonville, La. and resident of Baton Rouge, La. died Wednesday, November 28, 2007.
She is survived by her parents, Mary Ann Smith and James Scott; her stepfather, Curtis Williams; her foster mother, Dianne Smith; one son, Keion Smith; one daughter, Karisha Smith; six brothers, Glenn Nelson, Kendell Smith, Dennis Nelson, Eric Nelson, and Dawin Nelson, and Ernest Nelson; three stepbrothers; James Landry, and Reginald and Curtis Williams; one sister, Denise Nelson; two foster sisters, Felecia and Michelle Smith; and two stepsisters, Marie Williams and Janet Scott.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ceicel and Joseph Nelson and Wilma Thomas.
Lynnell was a devout Baptist.
Visitation is Saturday, December 8, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at St. Paul Baptist Church in Labadieville, La. She will be buried in the church cemetery.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
