June 21, 2010Mabel B.Toups, 91, a native and resident of Galliano, La., died at 5:03 a.m. Monday, June 14, 2010.
Mrs. Toups was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Lois (Larry) Crosby; brother, Hilton Bouffanie; sister, Justilia Curole; grandchildren, Marla Saia, Sheila Wightman and Vhores Trosclair III; 5 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Octave Toups; parents, Francis Sr. and Ceres Bouffanie; son, Johnny Toups; son-in-law, Vhores Trosclair Jr.; brothers, Ivan, Francis Jr. and Noles Bouffanie; and sister, Ezola Thibodeaux.
She is buried at Cheramie Cemetery.
