Mable Meads Fletcher, 82, a native and resident of Labadieville, La., died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011.
She is survived by her daughters, Leona and Sandra, Gladys (Rev. Lionel) Green, Eliska (Keith) Etienne and Electa (Vincent Sr.) Mickens; sisters, Ethel Randolph and Leola (Ellis) Brown; and 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Fletcher; parents, Zack Sr. and Adeline Meads; sons, Ernest Jr. and Kirk Sr. Fletcher; sisters, Eliska and Suvelia Thomas and Gladys Banks; and brothers, Mack, Zack, Ulysses and Denver Meads.
Visitation will be 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, at Williams & Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville, La., and 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, at St. Mark Baptist Church in Labadieville with services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Williams & Southall)
