Mack Celestine, 46, a native of Raceland, La., and resident of Bridge City, La., died Friday, Dec. 25, 2009.

He is survived by his mother, Annette Walters Celestine; brothers, Eddie and Leonard Celestine Jr., Floyd Celestine, and Benjamin and Jessie Celestine; and sisters, Audrey Pardo, Cecilia Celestine and Liza Ann Smith.


He was preceded in death by his father, the Rev. Leonard Celestine; brothers, Wilbert and Raymond Lee Celestine; and sister, Willie Mae Poindexter.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Raceland. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the church.

Mr. Celestine will be buried at New St. Matthew’s Cemetery in Houma.
