May 12, 2011Manuel Ferreira Sr., 89, a native of Boston, Mass., and resident of Raceland, La., died at 4:35 a.m. Sunday, April 10, 2011.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He is survived by his sons, Manuel Jr. (Karen) and Danny Sr. (Charlene); brother, John (Annette); six grandchildren, Scott, Rusty, Nicholas, Danny Jr., Candida and Dennis; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Buelah; second wife, Joyce; parents, Antonio and Candida; daughter, Inlan Lovenia; four brothers, Tony, Americo, Joseph and Arthur; and four sisters, Mary, Beatrice, Isabelle and Hazel.
