Margaret Eva Assavedo Morehead, 78, a native of St. Bernard Parish, La., and a resident of Bourg, La., died Saturday, Oct. 3.
She is survived by one son, Arthur B. Morehead Jr. and wife Debbie; one daughter, Susie A. Levron and husband Effel; one brother, Wilson Assavedo and wife Delores; four grandchildren, Troy Levron and wife Pauline, Nicole England and husband David, Brad Morehead and Kayla Willis and husband Phil; and one great-grandchild, David England Jr.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur B. Morehead Sr.; parents, Marco Sr. and Eva Nunez Assavedo; one brother, Marco Assavedo Jr.; and one sister, Shirley Kelly.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, at Samart Funeral Home in Houma, La., and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Dulac. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with burial at St. Ann Cemetery in Bourg.
