Margaret Simoneaux, 64, a native of Paincourtville, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died Sunday, Oct. 18.
She is survived by her husband, Terry B. Simoneaux; one son, Troy D. Simoneaux; five daughters, Tammy S. Zeringue, Stephanie and husband Darryl Benoit, Jennifer S. Aizen and husband Zane, Lauri S. Phoenix and husband Byron, and Heidi S. Stevens and husband Blair; and nine grandchildren, Tara Z. Loeske and husband Jacob, Taylor Zeringue, Kay Chiasson, Justin Simoneaux, Raven Simoneaux, Shelby Simoneaux Benoit, Ali Benoit, Zoe Aizen and Ashton Stevens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret “Maggie” Dugas and Louis “Took” Dugas.
She was a labor and delivery nurse at Terrebonne General Medical Center.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Thibodaux Regional Auxiliary Cancer Fund.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at First United Methodist Church in Thibodaux.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
