T’bonne businesses consider post-hurricane recovery plan

May 13, 2010Marguerite “Maggie” Hargis Knight, 85, a native of Lockport, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 2:30 a.m. Friday, April 30, 2010.
Mrs. Knight was a devoted Catholic. She retired from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. To further science and education, her body was donated to the LSU School of Medicine.
She is survived by her children, Joseph “Jay” Jr. (Cindy), Alex “Butch” (Charlotte), Paul, Marguerite (Louis) Erwin and George Knight; five grandchildren; sisters, Elaine Hillman, Beatrice Punch, Betty Folse and Marietta Adams.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to E.D. White Catholic High School for the Prayer Garden.
