Marie Chauvin Dupre, 84, a resident of Franklin, La., died Monday, Nov. 26, 2012.
Mrs. Dupre graduated from Charity School of Nursing in New Orleans, La., in 1948. She worked with the St. Mary Parish Health Unit and St. Mary School Board as a nurse. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, gardening and quilting. She was a devout Catholic, charter member of Catholic Daughters, Sacre Coeur Court and the Ladies Altar Society.
She is survived by her daughters, Elaine Granger, Becky Landry, Donna Miller and Patti Dupre; sons, Merlin Jr., Pannell, Wayne, Timothy, Gary and Thomas Dupre; sister, Leatrice Hanson; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. (Ibert’s)
