Jail woes continue in Lafourche Parish with tax on hold – for now

Marie France Jeanne Georges, 55, a native of Larose, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died at 8:12 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2011.
Mrs. Georges was chairman of the board of the PAC Club. She loved life, family and friends to the fullest. She also loved Bon Jovi and Keith Urban. She was truly loved and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her companion, Michael Barrios; mother, Liliane Ottelard Georges; son, Jared (Jamie) Danos; brothers, Jean III (Brandi Reynolds) and Gerald (Tina) Georges; sister, Martine (Rabb) Bruce; and two grandchildren, Jake Danos and Hunter Crochet.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jean Georges Jr.; and one sister, Chantal Boudreaux.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Relay for Life in her memory are preferred. (Samart-Mothe)
