Marie Pierre Verdin, 67, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 12:41 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2011.
She is survived by her devoted companion, Adam Bourg; sons, Paul Jr., Joseph and James Verdin; daughters, Rebecca Verdin and Rachel Chaisson; brothers, Ronald and Adam Pierre, Larry Trahan and Ernest Dion; sisters, Mary Dean, Geraldine Parfait, Shirley Berry and Christine Billiot; 21 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marie Dion and Adam Pierre; daughters, Cheryl Pierre and Martha Verdin; brother, T-Boy Pierre; and sister, Hazel Guidry.
Burial was at Grace Christian Memorial Gardens. (Samart)
