Marion Boudreaux Cunningham, 85, a native of New Orleans, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, January 6.


She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Charles Stephen Cunningham; sons, Charles Stephen Cunningham Jr. of Houma and Myles Cunningham and wife Gail Talbot of Houma; grandchildren, Courtney Cunningham Thigpen and husband Scott Thigpen and Katie Cunningham; and great-grandchildren, Madison Cunningham and Brooklyn Thigpen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clovis Fabius Boudreaux and Clara Marie Callahan Boudreaux; brothers, Clyde Boudreaux, Myles Boudreaux, Maxwell Boudreaux, Ray Boudreaux and Roy Boudreaux; and sisters, Louise Boudreaux Dupont and Bonnie Boudreaux Davy.


She was retired from Rich’s Department Store where she sold antiques.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday January 7, at Chauvin Funeral Home with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
