December 31, 2009Marion W. Robichaux, 78, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009, at Ochsner St. Anne Hospital in Raceland.
Mrs. Robichaux was an avid volunteer at nursing homes and senior citizens’ centers.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Lloyd Robichaux; son, Michael (Kathleen) Robichaux; daughter, Karen Long; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmund Walker and Octavia La Mulle Walker Pittman; and sister, Betty Newrath.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 a.m. at the church.
She will be buried at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church Cemetery in Raceland.
