Catholic Charities: Oil leak syndrome expected to hit home

Marion “M.O.” Young, 87, a native of Drumwright, Okla., and former resident of Houma, La., and resident of Farmerville, La., died Wednesday, June 16, 2010.
Mr. Young retired from Texaco, was a lifetime member of the Masons, was a World War II submarine veteran and loved to fish and travel.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Young; son, John (Lorie) Young; daughters, Gail Stoddard, Della (Matt) Toups, Nancy (Karl Traylor) Varisco and Robin (Chung) Nguyen; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Evelyn Young; one great-grandchild, Lane Young; his first wife, Dorothy Ross Young; and one brother, Muriel Young.
He is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
