Sheriff’s ranges give public a new target
March 11, 2010Marjoire Leblanc, 86, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died Friday, March 5, 2010.
Mrs. Leblanc volunteered at her church, local youth centers and the VA hospital. She was a member of the Ladies KC auxiliary, the Ladies Altar Society, St. Vincent De Paul and the Holy Name Society.
She is survived by daughters, Jean (Johnny) Vizier and Betty (Michael) Chiasson; brother, Layman Savoie; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy J. Leblanc; parents, Odon and Josephine Orgeron Savoie; brothers, Tillman and Jules Savoie; and one great-grandchild, Aurora Vizier.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. Mass will be said at 1 p.m. at the church.
She will be buried at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
