Mark David Tauzin

Mark David Tauzin, 47, a native and resident of Loreauville, died at his residence Monday, May 18, at 9:15 p.m.

He is survived by his wife, Alisa Boudreaux Tauzin of Loreauville; one son, Jacob Scott Tauzin of Loreauville; his mother, Yvonne Voisin Tauzin Judice and husband, Gerald, of Loreauville; one sister, Monique Tauzin Vice of Loreauville; one brother, David James Tauzin of Houma; three nephews, Talmon John Vice and Scott David Vice, both of Loreauville, and Luke David Tauzin of Houma; and one niece, Emily Boudreaux of Loreauville.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Percy Tauzin, paternal grandparents, Percy and Loise Moulis Tauzin; and maternal grandparents, Evest and Viola Thibodeaux Voison.

He was a faithful father, husband, son and friend. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council in Loreauville, La. and he worked for Shell Exploration and Production as a production supervisor for 24 years.

Visitation will be 3 to 9 p.m. with a KC Rosary being prayed at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 20 and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, May 21, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow with Fr. Ed Degeyter and Fr. Buddy Breaux officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Gift bearers will be Jacob Tauzin, Scott David Vice and Talmon Vice.

Pallbearers will be, Talmage Senter, Todd Faucheaux, Cody Chauvin, Mark Lowrey, Kevin Provost, Chanse Boudreaux, Carroll “JR” Boudreaux Jr. and Brian Provost.

Honorary pallbearers will be, Russell Auguillard, Brian Gonsoulin, Perry Judice, Terrell Dressel Jr., David Tauzin, Carroll Boudreaux, Carl Boudreaux, Tim Vice, and Shell Staff and co-workers.

David Funeral Home of Loreauville, La. is in charge of arrangements.
