Mark James Naquin, 58, a native of Chauvin, La. and resident of Houma, La. died October 26, 2007, at 4:34 p.m.


He is survived by his wife, Annie Kay “Katie” Harson Naquin; one son, Brody Naquin; one daughter, Leslie LeBouef and her husband Kendall; four grandchildren, Taylor, Jace, Kenzi, and Kameryn; his mother, Earline LeCompte; two brothers, Clark “Chock” Naquin and Robert “Yogi” Naquin; and two sisters, JoAnn Pellegrin and Marlene Naquin.

He was preceded in death by his father, Junior Naquin; and his grandparents, Noamie and Charlie LeCompte, Jr. and Julie and Dema Naquin.

Mark was a graduate of St. Joseph Benedictine High School in Chauvin. He served his country during in United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a retired production foreman for Unocal Oil Co.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
