May 2, 2012Mary “Sister Dias” Geraldine Broussard Dias, 71, a resident of Terrebonne Parish, La., died Monday, April 23, 2012.
Mrs. Dias enjoyed reading and gardening. Her children and grandchildren treasure the countless hours she spent journaling her and their lives.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Lee Dias; mother, Marie Broussard; siblings, Loena Olds, Maureen Collins, and Glen, Louis and Murphy Broussard; children, Brazette (Darren) Carlos, Briton (Monica) Dias and Bethany (Decky) Roy; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Broussard. (Samart)
