Maryland Theresa Lirette, 59, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2011.
Ms. Lirette was a member of Victory Christian Center.
She is survived by her son, Shawn (Gwen) Lirette; daughter, Chantyl Lirette; stepchildren, Karen, Tiffany and Richard Dean and Marjorie Smith; sisters, Ethel (Michael) Avant; two grandchildren, Rheagan and Olen Lirette; one step-grandchild, Drake Pellegrin; nephews, Chris and David Avant; and lifelong friend, Linda Malbrough.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Olen and Annie Lovell Lirette; brothers, Elgin Lirette; and son, Dion Brunet. (Chauvin)
