Mathilda Roussel Ellender, 75, a native of Montegut, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, July 31, 2010.
She is survived by her daughters, Debra Ellender, Loretta (Bill) Tanner and Lelia Ellender; brothers, Whitney and Marcellin Roussel; sisters, Jessie Etheridge and Evelyn Carter; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Ellender; parents, Edgar and Eva Roussell; one son, Allen Ellender; two brothers, Felix and Mertil Roussel; and two sisters, Ada Roussel and Marie Hebert.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph Hospice of Thibodaux are preferred.
