Matthew Louis Verdun, 36, a native of Thibodaux, La., and resident of Hammond, La., died Nov. 28, 2010.
Mr. Verdun was a resident of North Lakes Supports and Services Center in Hammond and was previously a long-time resident of Bayou Regions Support Services, formerly Peltier-Lawless Developmental Center in Thibodaux.
He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Martin Sanchez; stepfather, James Sanchez; sister, Katie Sanchez; and grandmother, Jeanne Martin.

Science Care of Phoenix, Ariz., is in charge of the donation of his body for research and education.
