May Guidry Danos, 86, a native and resident of Raceland, LA., died at 2 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2007.
Visitation is from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by five sons, Ronald, John Jr., Russell, Richard and Terry Danos; two daughters, Joyce Authement and Mona Danos; one brother, Clarence Guidry; 20 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Weldon “Waul” Danos; her parents, Lovance and Ozelia Pinel Guidry; three brothers, Claude, Sterling and Lawrence Guidry; two half-brothers, Ruffin and Beb Guidry; one sister, Alice Guidry; two half-sisters, Cecile Gaston and Florence LeBlanc.
She was a parishioner at St. Mary Catholic Church.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
