Melazie Guidry Thibodaux, 86, a native of Lafourche Parish and resident of Raceland, La. died Thursday, November 15, 2007, at 12:00 a.m.
She is survived by her husband, Lovance Thibodaux; two daughters, Rose Breaux and her husband J.P. and Rita St. Pierre and her husband Danny; one brother, Ignace Guidry; one sister, Levie Crochet; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary Pitre Guidry, Sr.; five brothers, Eugene, Rene, Lawless, Clay, and Charles Guidry, Jr.; and four sisters, Esther Ledet, Juanita Lirette, Gertie Gravais, and Viola Tivet.
Melazie was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Visitation is Saturday, November 17, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland. She will be buried in the church cemetery.
