Melvin Michael Hebert, 79, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 2:40 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011.
Mr. Hebert was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church.
He is survived by his daughters, Levorne (Gil) Rhodes and Loretta (Timothy) Morvant; stepdaughter, Sandra Dupre; sister, Dolores Autin; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Verlin Hebert; parents, Abraham and Aurelia Hebert; brothers, Bob and Marvel Hebert; and sisters, Francis Theriot and Melvia Robichaux.
Burial was at St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
