Melvin William Robinson, 82, a resident of Thibodaux, La., died Monday, June 9, 2014.
Mr. Robinson was a member of Walter Irving Lanier Lodge 307. He worked as a dredge captain for 40 years and was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sharon Robinson; sons, Dean and Bruce (Juanita) Robinson; sisters, Valerie Desserre, Candice Kilbreath and Marlene Robinson; brothers, Clifford, Leonard and Bill Robinson; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Nora Robinson; sisters, Ione and Margaret Robinson; and brothers, Patrick, Dwight and Maxie Robinson. (Thibodaux)
