Mercedes Marie Marquette, 87, a native of Paincourtville, La., and a resident of Napoleonville, La., died Thursday, April 24.
She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Seabolt and husband Steve of Napoleonville, Noelie Naquin, Audrey McComas and husband Bill of Plattenville, La., and Elodie Cassard and husband Gerald of Belle Rose, La.; her sister, Shirley Boudreaux; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Noel Marquette; and her parents, Josephine and Joe LeBlanc.
She was buried at Assumption Catholic Church Cemetery in Plattenville.
Williams and Southall Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
