Merlin J. Leonard, 75, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2011.
He is survived by his sons, Gary Triche Sr. and Jesse Leonard; daughters, Judy and Debra Gaudet, Lisa Simmons and Rachel Leonard; brothers, Arnold and Gerrard Leonard; 18 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert and Lobenia Dugas Leonard; son, Rickey Leonard; and two sisters, Virgie Whipple and Alice Bergeron. (Samart-Mothe)
