Michael LeBlanc Sr.

Michael “Mike” LeBlanc Sr., 53, a native of Houma, La. and resident of Bourg, La., died Tuesday, April 24, 2007.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to service time Thursday at Samart Funeral Home of Houma. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Billie Sue Ratcliff LeBlanc; his mother, Rita Deroche LeBlanc; three sons, Michael LeBlanc Jr. and wife, Nikki, Joshua LeBlanc and Jeremy LeBlanc; two daughters, Nicole Chaisson and husband, Nicholas, and Dayla Buquet and husband, Greg; five brothers, Ernest LeBlanc, Robert LeBlanc and wife, Gail, Herman LeBlanc and wife, Tammy, Mason LeBlanc and wife, Donna, and James Duplantis and wife, Tanya; four sisters, Mable Benoit and husband, Leo, Rita Ann Hebert and husband, William, Patricia Hebert and husband, Howard, and Theresa Authement and husband, Travis; one sister-in-law, Sandra Breaux LeBlanc; seven grandchildren, Gennia Buquet, Hunter LeBlanc, Haili Rose LeBlanc, Shawn Buquet, Hayden Buquet, Kayli LeBlanc and Myka LeBlanc; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace LeBlanc; his grandparents, Joseph and Edna DeRoche; and one brother, Daniel LeBlanc.

He was a member of the Marine Corps League and a member of Toys for Tots.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangement.
