Michael Wayne Porche, 54, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and a resident of Gibson, La., died Sunday, June 21.
He is survived by his daughter, Nina Porche; brothers, Milton, William and Anthony Porche; sisters, Lettie Porch-Singleton and Janet Porche-William; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Rita Daigs Porche; brother, Claude Porche; and sister, Sandra Porche-Rener.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church.
Funeral services were Wednesday, July 1, at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church with burial at the church cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
