Miechell “Mitch” Joseph Bonnette, 28, a native and resident of Raceland, La. died Saturday, November 10, 2007.


He is survived by his wife, Rachel Pollet Bonnette; his mother, Carolyn Robichaux Bonnette; his father, Michael Bonnette and his wife Patty; his grandmother, Florence Gaudet Bonnette; his father and mother-in-law; Leonard and Sharon Pollet; one brother, Matthew Bonnette; one sister, Meghan Bonnette; one niece, Maggie Martin; and his sister-in-law, Tanya Martin and her husband Jeremy.


He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Angus “Pete” Bonnette, Jr. and Leroy and Mae Callahan Robichaux.

Miechell was an employee of Cytec Industries. He was a 1996 graduate of Central Lafourche High School. He graduated from Nicholls State University in 2004 with a degree in Agribusiness.

Visitation is Tuesday, November 13, 2007, from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland, with the funeral to follow at Holy Savoir Catholic Church in Lockport, La. He will be buried in St. Bridget Cemetery in Schriever, La.

Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
