Mildred Claire St. Pierre Bourgoyne, 93, a native of Lutcher, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014.
Mrs. Bourgoyne had a love of life, family and music. Although she lived in Houma most of her life, she always called Lutcher her home. She worked at the Fox and Park Theaters for many years retiring in 1964.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Cunningham; brother, George (Frances) St. Pierre; sisters, Isabelle Callahan and Marilyn Pitre; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Bourgoyne; parents, George and Effie St. Pierre; sister, Elaine Smith; and brothers, Arnold and Donald St. Pierre.
Visitation will be 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at Chauvin Funeral Home with services to follow. Burial will be at Terrebonne Memorial Park. (Chauvin)
