April 8, 2010Mildred Harris, a native and resident of Raceland, died Tuesday, March 30, 2010.
She is survived by her former husband, Willie Harris Sr.; daughters, Barbara (James Walker), Carolyn (Nolan Thomas), Brenda (Wilfred Gray), Doris and Linda Harris; sons, Willie Jr. (Karen), Lionel and Burnell Harris; sisters, Elmira Sylvester and Rosa (Ernest Jr.) Tucker; seven stepsisters; brothers, Daniel, Phillip (Ann) and Willie (Linda) Williams Jr.; four stepbrothers; 17 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She is buried at Young Ladies Benevolent Cemetery in Raceland.
