Mildred B. Smith, 82, a native and resident of Raceland, died Saturday, April 16, 2011.
Mrs. Smith was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church in Raceland.
She is survived by her sons, Terry and Van Sylvester Smith; daughters, Annette Smith, Joyce (Adam) Gray, Belinda (Joseph) McDowell and Charlotte (Adam) Bourda; and brother, Elton Campbell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Smith; parents, Evelyn Flowers and Willie Beacon; sons, Maine and Sylvester Smith; daughter, Glenda Smith; and brothers, Freddie and Jack Lee and Thomas Lawrence.
She is buried at Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery. (Kennedy)
