Miller J. Crochet, 91, a native of Montegut, La., and resident of Chauvin, La., died Saturday, March 29, 2014.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Lois Crochet; sons, Glenn, Eric and Randall Crochet; daughter, Carolyn Portier; stepchildren, Ivy Jr., Robert and Errol Hebert and Evelyn LeBoeuf; sisters, Regina Oliver and Lucille DeRoche; 12 grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 13 step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lois Crochet; son, Timothy Crochet; stepson, Kenneth Hebert; parents, Evence and Lorenza Crochet; brothers, John, Elmore and Leo Crochet; and sisters, Doris Peltier, Bessie Falgout and Enolia Rogers.
Burial is at St. Joseph Cemetery in Chauvin. (Falgout)
