Minta Marie Cheramie Martin, 91, a native of Leeville, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010.
Mrs. Martin is survived by her daughter, Edith Ann Martin Williford; caregivers, Eddie and Helen Delhaye; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie J. Martin; her parents, Anatole and Atticia Pitre Cheramie; brothers, Manny and Roosevelt Cheramie; and sisters, Augusta Fontenot, Timmis Collins, Louise Angelle and Loraine Vega.
She is entombed at Cheramie Cemetery in Golden Meadow, La.
