Misty Chapman Welch, a native of Morgan City, La., died at her residence in Berwick, La., on Dec. 12, 2009.
Mrs. Welch worked at Tampico’s for nearly 15 years, and enjoyed the outdoors.
She is survived by her children, Jesse III and Kaitlyn Welch; ex-husband, Jesse Welch Jr.; mom, Dolly (James) Gonzales; brothers, Gary Durocher and Raphael Chapman Jr.; sisters, Karen Phillips, Tracy Rhodes, Chasity Massicot and Brittany Chapman; nieces, Courtney, Daina and Carlyssa; and nephews, Chad, Peyton, Jeff, Ashton, Travis, Jeremy, Trennon and Matthew.
She was preceded in death by her father, Raphael Chapman Sr.; and grandparents, Hebert and Connie Durocher.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Welch’s name at Morgan City Bank and Trust.
She is buried at Morgan City Cemetery.
