Mitch Petty, 37, a native and resident of Galliano, La., died Dec. 1, 2009, at 8:35 p.m.
He is survived by his companion, Margaret Bergeron; parents, Jesse and Sue Petty; brothers, Timothy and Kenneth Petty; sister, Amy Petty; two nieces; and three nephews.
He is buried at the Petty family cemetery in Summit, Miss.
