Molly (Aunt Molly” E. Delone, 90, a native of Franklin La., died at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2011.


Mrs. Delone accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by Rev. Walter Buckner at Mount Zion Baptist Church. She later moved her membership to the Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Allen Ray Randle, Sr.


She is survived by her children, Edward (Brenda) and Larry (Shari) Delone and Jordan (David) Rix; sister, Georgia Peterson; brother, Ernest Jr. (Rebecca) Eugene; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three godchildren; and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Delone, parents, Ernest and Hannah Eugene; brothers, Frank Buckhanna and Steve Eugene; and seven sisters, Stella Simon, Daisy Reed, Lee Small, Beatrice Davis, Virginia Rochelle, Francis Coleman and Lillie Hardwick.

Burial will be at Franklin Cemetery. (Jones)
