July 12, 2010Monty Dale Garner, 59, a native of Opelousas, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 6:25 a.m. Friday, July 9, 2010.
Mr. Garner served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his daughter, Marchella Foret; brothers, Allen and Jeffery Garner; sister, Carol Scott; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Ruth Durham Garner; two brothers, Roger and Charles Garner; and one sister, Linda Arceneaux.
