Morgan John Chaisson, 43, a native and resident of Grand Bois, La., died Thursday, April 26, 2007.
Visitation will be from 4 to 10 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Samart Funeral Home of Houma. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial in Rogers Cemetery.
He is survived by his parents, Earline and Michael Chaisson Sr. of Grand Bois; three brothers, Michael Chaisson Jr. of Montegut, La., Randy Chaisson Sr. of Grand Bois and Simon Chaisson and fiancee’, Evelyn Fazzio, of Denham Springs, La.; one sister, Rachel Chaisson White and husband, Daniel White Jr., of Monegut; six nieces, Diana Chaisson, Mandy Chaisson, Michelle Chaisson, Cassondra White, Reyanna Martin and Crystel White; six nephews, Randy Chaisson Jr., Daniel White III, Brandon Chaisson, Michael Chaisson III, Cody Doucet and Seth Chaisson; three great-nieces, Infinity Chaisson, Layla Chaisson and Jayla Verdin; and two great-nephews, Matthew Chaisson and Ethan Lirette.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jackson and Odit Billiot and Alex and Eugina Chaisson.
He was a member of Bethal Baptist Church in Grand Bois.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
