Ned Louis LeBlanc Jr., 69, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, May 23, 2010, at his home.


A graduate of St. Aloysius High School, Mr. LeBlanc served in the U.S. Army for three years. He was a member of Council No. 1905 Knights of Columbus and, at death, a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Covington.


He was passionate about the New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers, and his hobbies included golf and hunting.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Laura Ardoin LeBlanc; children, Deborah (Richard) Watkins, Ned (Amy) LeBlanc III, Joan LeBlanc, Kenneth (Wendy) and David (Melissa) LeBlanc; eight grandchildren; brother, James (Sheryl) LeBlanc; sisters, Doris LeBlanc, Janice (Chuck) Stiebing, Alma (Richie) Hesse, Mary Ford, Barbara Normand and Bridget Spanja; sister-in-law, Helen LeBlanc; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is buried at Greenwood Cemetery.
