Thibodaux church finds its place after 10-year expansion
January 12, 2010Nell Llamas Perez, 67, a native of Savannah, Ga., and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010, with her family at her side.
Mrs. Perez was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. She worked for 35 years at Edward J. Leperouse Metal Works Inc.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Larry Perez Sr.; sons, Larry “Paul” (Terri) and Michael Perez; daughter, Margaret “Peggy” (Mike) Day; seven grandchildren, James and Brady Perez, Kaylin and Gabrial Perez, Gregory, Robyn and Samantha Day; sister, Mary Llamas Davis; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Blanche Llamas; and brother, James Llamas.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the American Cancer Society.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
