Nellie Singleton, 88, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, June 1, 2010.
Mrs. Singleton was a member of New Zion Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She is survived by her companion, Willie Willis; daughter, Anita Courtney; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She is buried at New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
