Nelson Smith, 62, a native and resident of Boutte, La. died Sunday, November 4, 2007.
He is survived by two sons, Terrance Robinson and his wife Trina and Nelson Robinson and his wife Tyra; two brothers, Leroy Smith and his wife Linda and Wilford Smith and his wife Ruby; one step-brother, James Pierce; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hazel and Eddie Smith; and two brothers, Leslie Smith, Sr. and Raymond Smith.
Nelson was a devout Baptist. He enjoyed woodwork and arts and crafts.
Visitation is Saturday, November 10, 2007, from 930:am until 11:30 a.m., with the funeral to follow at Bell Baptist Church in Luling, La. He will be buried in St. Mary Baptist Church Cemetery in Boutte.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
